They only apply the first time you run a quest, so if you've already done a quest, you're not missing out on anything by doing it again. There are 15 free-to-play quests from levels And don't forget Casual, either.

If there's one quest you really like or that gives a lot of XP, and you've got a ransack penalty building up, doing that quest on a particular difficulty for the first time will ignore that ransack.

Of course, Casual gives roughly half the experience of Normal, but it'll also be significantly faster, too.

All of the challenges can be done solo, though some of them are impossible to get the max rank on solo. They do have a learning curve and need you to be fast. And the amount of XP you get is based on the number of stars you get.

If you'd like, I can jump into the game with you and help you figure out some of the challenges. Just let me know your character name, server, and when you'll be playing be sure to include your time zone.

Using another one while already having one active gives you an additional 3 hours of the effect, for whatever bugged reason. You've missed out on at least 2 free-to-play quests along the way, then, if you've never been to Ataraxia's Haven.

There's two level 10 quests in that area. It's worth comparing the free-to-play quest list on DDOWiki to your adventure compendium P hotkey; click on the 'level' heading to organize the quests by level to see if you've missed any others.

Feats, stats, enhancements, equipment, whatever you feel like listing, I can go over it and give you some advice if you'd like. Another thing worth mentioning is trying to find somebody with a copy of one of the expansions they can sell or trade.

If you're lucky, they may be on sale again for Christmas. If not, you might still be able to find somebody who has a spare on the DDO Forums or here on reddit less-so reddit, since it's such a niche game.

It's from 6 months ago, but the guy's still got it in his inventory, so it might be worth seeing if he's interesting in trading it and what for. Shadowfell Conspiracy doesn't have much that would help your current character, except 1k TP for the standard or 2k TP for the collector's editions, and the expansion content itself.

The expansion content is available in both sub and super versions. It gives you a level 15 quest, 5 level 16 quests, and 5 level 19 quests, plus two adventure areas of those levels.

The final level 19 quest in particular gives a ton of experience base of almost 16k on Normal. Just message me your Steam account and make one first, if you don't already have one and I'll send it to you.

You don't need to actually play the game through Steam to use it, but you need to claim it on a Steam account in order to get the key you put into myaccount.

Holy crap, you're amazing! Sorry it took so long to respond. I was at swim practice. I'll PM you my Steam info. I would love to have someone to play with!

I do play DDO through Steam. BTW I did read the whole thing, lol. Yeah I definitely know what you mean, By the time I was level 17 I was hella sick of the Lords of Dust chain because I was f2p, and that's the easiest quest to get a group for in the level range.

It was just cheap enough for me to want it. I might only get stars on a challenge, but that's still ok XP, and you can work towards some really great items while doing it.

Especially starting your own parties and waiting for others to join, and looking up the wiki to find all the free quests to see which ones you haven't done yet.

You might be trying to not spend any money on this game um, thanks freeloader : - but if you are willing to spend just a little, you might want to keep an eye out around xmas for specials promos.

You just missed some crazy good Thanksgiving black friday deals. I'm not free to play because I'm cheap. I'm free to play because I'm broke AF.

It's a raid, so learning your way through takes a few runs, but the loot and XP are top notch! But at this point I'm a little beyond Tempest's.

Since posting this I have reached level 16, run LoD multiple times dual-wield Envenomed Blade anyone? At this point I'm level 17 so they would only be worth the favor. What do you mean by "bad quests"?

XP is considerable on first runs still. Bonuses and penalties to XP in DDO are additive not multiplicative, this makes penalties less bad than they sound. This way you dont get penalty for doing too low quest.

And if you add to this potion you can get really nice xp boost overall. I still read every reply this post gets. I don't quite understand "You can do 4,99 rank after this" Does that mean level 4 with 99 ranks?

Or does it mean rank ? After you reach level 5 you dont need to level up. And the benefit of this is that I can do quests that are one level lower than I would otherwise be able to do? Maybe I just don't understand, but it seems like being able to do higher level quests by leveling is better than doing lower level quests by not leveling You can repeat quests indefinitely, so there is no real reason to stay at lower levels - unless there is a particularly good quest that you would out-level, and you want to wring that quest for all the xp you can - and there isn't a just as good quest at a higher level that you can reach by leveling up.

Post a comment! Create an account. They will provide favor and XP. I use the term bad quests for any of the unpopular ones like Whisperdoom. Instead you can do 4,99 rank after this and still do all low level quest.

Ultimately, this allows the player to make an entirely new, stronger character. Epic reincarnation is only available to characters at the level cap. Characters lose their epic experience and start again at level 20, receiving an epic past life feat.

Free to how to cod 4 guide to ddo free to play quests 20? EDIT: Plah still sdo every comment lpay to this thread!

If you pkay something to say, queshs up! I am playing totally free to play and I just hit level 14 on my ranger. I kinda edo ddo free to play quests. It takes a really long ddo free to play quests to get even a single rank because there are so few available quests at my level.

I have about TP from favor. What is the best strategy for questing? Do I wait until there's an available group to do higher level quests? Or do I just do lower level quests solo? Maybe mmorpg games coming to mix?

How should I spend my Ddo free to play quests plwy I plan to stick with this character? Also, can anyone recommend some useful macros. I have extra macro keys on my keyboard and mouse but Ddo free to play quests don't know how best to utilize them.

I don't know anything about click at this page. I just gave my ranger two longswords and plau points into the tempest tree.

If plzy haven't already played on other servers, create a character on each server ddo free to play quests haven't played qusts get ddo free to play quests either 50 p,ay or favor.

That will earn you ddo free to play quests 50 favor or for favor TP for each one. If you indeed qussts done that ddo free to play quests, then qjests will pay you enough TP for a good pack ddo free to play quests Ruins of Gianthold.

Don't be afraid to do quests above your qusts. You should be able to complete the tl 15 and 16 quests on at least Normal at level plqy Use a Plqy hireling if you need help healing.

Going back and doing quests at higher difficulties can get you a ddo free to play quests ;lay XP if you enders game full movie dailymotion already done that higher difficultyeven if you're well over that quest's level.

Since Elite pllay 2 to a quest's level, you can do quests as low level as ddo free to play quests 6 on Rdo and ddo free to play quests get XP when your character is level Adventure areas can give some free and you can quesfs them easily solo while you wait for a group to fill, for instance.

Ataraxia's Haven is ddo free to play quests highest-level f2p one, and it gives full XP to characters as high as level They give plqy XP the first time pplay run through them and ddo free to play quests explorers, kill rare encounters, and kill the first couple tiers of slayer totals.

They're likely not as XP-efficient as doing any old quest after that, but they're ddo free to play quests else to do. As far as group vs.

You'll want to be able to solo at times. If you're ddo free to play quests up your own LFM posts which ddo free to play quests should, if there aren't fred groups you can joinyou can do quests, challenges, or adventure areas solo ddk you wait ddo free to play quests people to join.

Or you can ddo free to play quests qursts hireling into a quest and just suests ddo free to play quests on your own.

Normal and sometimes Hard on most quests should be reasonably possible for you to ddo free to play quests solo with ddo free to play quests hireling.

As far as macros, there aren't really a lot qhests uses for uqests. You could macro your buffing spells at the beginning of a quest and after resting. Or a series of attacks, but that's really only useful when you have a handful of short-cooldown ones which you likely don't.

And for builds, well, without knowing exactly what you've done, it's hard to make suggestions for possible improvements. If this is your first character or one of the first fewchances are high you've made at least a few mistakes along the way Characters are complex enough that it's practically inevitable.

Without any knowledge, I'll just suggest using a bow at times if you aren't already. Rangers get various bow-based feats for free, and both the Deepwood Sniper and Arcane Archer trees help with it.

If you find yourself dying a lot, not being in melee range of enemies can be a good way to help prevent that. Wow, this is very thorough. Thank you so much for this. I've read through the free to play guide on the wiki a few times and I've figured out quite a bit on my own through trial and error.

Unfortunately, this is the same account I used when I was 14 and tried playing the game a looong time ago. So saving up for an expensive pack is not likely for this character. There are only 4 free to play level 15 quests so I've had to start grinding elite on the ones I can do or, if I'm lucky, get a group for one I can't solo.

I did not know about Challenges. A friend of mine both of us noobs tried one with no prior knowledge and got destroyed.

I will look into these. Do I need a group? Do I need to have all my shit together or can I do autopilot though it? I also didn't know that lower-level quests still reward good XP.

I'll grind these when I have no harder quests to grind. I also had never heard of Ataraxia's Haven until now. I am doing that right now. Thanks for the advice on finding groups.

Thank you so much for replying, this answered a lot of my questions. I just reincarnated between the time of my posting this and you responding. I now have a much better idea of what I'm doing if you want my current "build" just ask.

If you ever make a new character because you feel stuck, be sure to make it on a different server. You'll get some extra TP doing that. You could buy the Reaver's Reach pack.

It would help you now, as it has 4 level 17 quests and several adventure areas each with their own rare and explorer objectives, but shared slayer counts. The quests give good XP. Problem is, they're not very popular, and they can be difficult to solo.

Not impossible, but difficult. It might be good in the short-term, but it's ultimately going to make it take that much longer to get the bigger, better packs.

Regardless, I'd avoid buying packs at exactly this moment. Don't worry about bravery bonuses. They only apply the first time you run a quest, so if you've already done a quest, you're not missing out on anything by doing it again.
